Introduction to Good Research Practice [GWP BM]
Participants will learn the basics of good research practice (GWP) with the help of case studies: What is GWP and what constitutes scientific misconduct? What regulations are in place? Who enforces these rules? Participants will then focus specifically on GWP in relation to authorship, publications and doctoral supervision.
Note: Doctoral students at the doctoral centres in Saxony-Anhalt should note that, according to the doctoral regulations of the IWIT, Life Science, Architecture & Design Research, and Environment and Technology doctoral centres, they must provide evidence of attendance at events on ‘good scientific practice’. This workshop can be part of that proof. Here you will find an overview of the options available for providing such evidence.
