Interdisciplinary qualification offers for a successful doctorate

The interdisciplinary workshop and networking program offers the possibility to acquire various key qualifications for an academic career. Thereby, we always have the interests of early career researchers in mind and plan events tailored to their needs.

The qualification program is organized by Merseburg University of Applied Sciences together with the Harz, Anhalt and Magdeburg-Stendal Universities of Applied Sciences. Participation is thus open to all HAW doctoral students in the federal state and promotes networking among early career researchers. Participation in the program is free of charge for doctoral students.

The events offered in the interdisciplinary qualification program are also open to doctoral students from Otto von Guericke University, Magdeburg. At the same time, doctoral students from the HAWs in Saxony-Anhalt participate in the OvGU's qualification program free of charge.


Support for your participation

To make it easier for you to attend the events on-site, you can take advantage of the following support services if needed.

Members of Merseburg university of applied sciences with childcare responsibilities can contact the Family Office for some support services. Please feel free to inform yourself on the website if needed https://www.hs-merseburg.de/familie (only available in German).

Participants can apply for a travel allowance of 50% of their travel costs for each attendance at events within the scope of the qualification program. You can apply for educational leave to attend our workshops if your employer is located in Saxony-Anhalt. Please contact Kerstin Tänzer on behalf of the association.
